NEW RECOIL LED TECHNOLOGY
Peli has started a revolution in the lighting industry. Torches that are as bright as incandescent lights with the benefits of the LED.
The LED lamp is directed backwards where 100% of the light is then captured and reflected forwards like a handheld lighthouse.
The result is a powerful, white, collimated beam that’s brighter than incandescent lights and 33 times brighter than existing LED torches.
SAFETY APPROVED LIGHTS
Peli torches have safety and quality certifications from around the world. In Europe they comply with the ATEX directives, obtaining approvals to zone 0 and zone1.
Innovations such as their polarity battery tray make operating the torch impossible if one or more of the cells is inverted. This feature protects against dangerous ‘out-gassing’ from an accidentally reversed cell.
Another industry first is the addition of gas absorbing pellets. It is a back-up system that absorbs excess hydrogen retained inside the light, preventing the risk of an explosion. No gas... no spark.
